Terms of Service

Welcome to indigo U (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by indigo U. By accessing or using the Platform at IndigoU.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 may have restricted access to certain content categories (see Section 7).

2. Account & Anonymous Use

The Platform supports anonymous use. You may answer scenarios and build a personality profile without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Anonymous usage data may be associated with a browser cookie; creating an account links this data to your account.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including scenarios, AI-generated insights, personality profiles, design elements, and the “indigo U” brand mark — is the property of indigo U or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our written permission.

5. Your Content & Data

By answering scenarios on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your responses in aggregate and anonymized form for platform improvement, research, and community features (e.g., trending scenarios, community statistics). Your individual responses are associated with your user profile and are not shared publicly unless you explicitly choose to share them.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate personality insights, compatibility analyses, and other content. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. It does not constitute professional psychological, medical, or relationship advice. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated insights.

7. Age-Restricted Content

Certain content categories on the Platform (including but not limited to “Affection & Touch” and “Intimacy & Boundaries”) contain scenarios that explore mature relationship topics. These categories are only accessible to users who have verified they are 18 years of age or older. We rely on self-reported date of birth for age verification.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party services including but not limited to:

• Firebase (authentication, database)
• Anthropic Claude API (AI insight generation)
• Google Analytics / BigQuery (analytics)
• Google AdSense (advertising)

Your use of the Platform is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Personality insights and compatibility scores are for entertainment purposes and should not be relied upon for life decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, indigo U shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in accordance with applicable U.S. law.
